AI Albania at INN Fest: AI in Business Roundtable
Roundtable moderated by AI Albania's founder, bringing academia, companies, startups, and non-profits together to chart AI in business for the next three years.

AI Albania took part in INN Fest as a community partner, with its founder leading and moderating the roundtable “AI in Business in Albania.” The session brought together voices from academia, established companies, startups, and non profit organizations to look at how AI is already entering the Albanian market and what the next three years should look like.
The roundtable underlined a simple fact. AI in business is no longer a slogan. Albania already has AI first startups and initiatives that can serve as early reference points for others.
AI in Business in Albania: who was in the room
The discussion gathered:
- Representatives from universities and research
- Founders and managers from the private sector
- AI first startups
- Non profit actors working with the tech and business community
- AI Albania’s founder moderated the conversation, guiding the group through questions on strategy, readiness, and shared responsibility.
Key messages from the roundtable
Participants agreed that Albania needs a clearer and more coordinated path for AI in business. Three points stood out.
National AI strategy and coordination
There is a pressing need for a national AI strategy and a dedicated coordination mechanism, such as a ministry or agency, to avoid fragmented efforts and to give companies and institutions a stable reference point.
Support for AI first companies and startups
Companies and startups that build with AI from the outset should find it easier to operate. This includes simpler procedures, targeted support schemes, and better access to expertise.
Capacity building across the economy
Skills and understanding linked to AI must grow in all sectors of the Albanian economy. This is not limited to tech teams but includes management, public bodies, and professional groups that will work with AI systems every day.
These themes echoed AI Albania’s mission to promote responsible, strategic, and forward looking use of AI in the country.
Continuing the conversation
Right after the roundtable, the founder shared further reflections in a short podcast interview recorded by nodelabstudios. The conversation revisits the main outcomes of the session and points to what needs to happen next for AI in business in Albania.
